Kern Medical Announces Officers for the Kern County Hospital Authority Board

Bakersfield, Calif. – March 16, 2016 –  The Kern County Hospital Authority Board of Governors selected its officers today.  The selection of the Board’s officers is another critical part of Kern Medical’s transition from a Kern County Department to a Hospital Authority. The Kern County Board of Supervisors appointed the Board of Governors on March 1, 2016.

“We’re excited to have such prominent and highly-qualified members of the community on our Board of Governors,” said Russell Judd, CEO of Kern Medical. “We also thank the County for its diligent effort and vision in this process, and we thank everyone who has and continues to contribute to making this transition a reality.  The Hospital Authority will enable us to better deliver on our important role in serving the community and our patients as a safety net provider, an academic training center and a leader in trauma and specialty services.”

The Board of Governors and its officers are:
