Kern Medical Commemorates the Hospital’s Transition to the Kern County Hospital Authority on June 13, 2016

What: The Kern County Board of Supervisors will hold its final meeting at Kern Medical on June 13, 2016, recognizing the transition of Kern Medical to the Kern County Hospital Authority. Kern Medical’s transition to the Hospital Authority will officially occur on July 1, 2016, enabling the hospital to better serve patients in the community as a safety net provider, an academic training center, and a leader in trauma and specialty services.

Following the Board of Supervisors meeting, Kern Medical will hold a ceremony with opening remarks from CEO Russell Judd, a commemorative video about the hospital and refreshments. The public is welcome to attend.
