The majority of the year will be spent in required Learning Experiences but the resident has 8 weeks available for 2 electives. Generally these come at the end of the year but can be earlier depending on the resident's interests.

PGY-2: Required Learning Experiences:
The PGY-2 residency is designed to continuously build on the skills learned throughout the year.
Required learning experiences:
- Orientation
- Administration
- Addiction Medicine
- Pharmacotherapy
- Patient Centered Medical Home
- Infectious Disease
- Research
Elective Learning Experiences: The majority of the year will be spent in required Learning Experiences. There will be flexibility in the schedule in the second half of the program based on resident interests and needs of the program.
