Kern Medical’s Safe Home, Safe Baby program is focused on providing the community of Kern County with educational information and resources to assist parents in providing a Safe Home for their infants. Kern Medical has partnered with the Bakersfield Fire Department to include information on increasing awareness and reducing risk factors of unexplained sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), as well as scald and burn prevention and fire safety.
