Dozens of hospital volunteers from across the central valley meet in Bakersfield

WHY: Biannual meeting of hospital volunteers to share ideas, problem solve, and inspire. Meeting is in effort to further the mission of the organizations attendees serve.
09/28/2017 – The Southern San Joaquin Valley Area Council will gather Monday, October 2nd, 2017 at Hodel’s Country Dining and more than 70 people are expected to attend. The council serves hospitals in the central valley from areas including Reedley, Hanford, Selma, Clovis, Visalia, Fresno, Tulare and Bakersfield.
The event is hosted by the Kern Medical Auxiliary and serves as an open forum for the exchange of ideas, problem solving, sharing of knowledge and education, and to inspire and mentor new leaders.
Officers from the Southern San Joaquin Area Council, along with volunteer service managers and officers from each hospital will be in attendance including representatives from Kern Medical, Adventist Health and Dignity Health.
