Darrin Lee, MD

About Dr. Lee

Dr. Darrin Lee is a Neurosurgeon at Kern Medical.

Dr. Lee completed his undergraduate degrees in Neuroscience and Philosophy at Brown University. He attended Medical School at the University of California, Irvine and received his Ph.D from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Lee completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at University of California, Davis, and in his final year of the program, served as Chief Resident. He completed a Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery Fellowship at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Lee is an Assistant Professor in both the Department of Neurological Surgery and Department of Psychiatry at the University of Southern California. He is a Visiting Associate in the Division of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology. He serves as Director of Cerebrospinal Fluid Surgery Program and Assistant Director of the USC Neurorestoration Center at USC. Dr. Lee has received numerous honors and awards including the Emerging Investigator Scholar from the American Academy of Neurological Surgery and USC Department of Neurological Surgery Teaching Award.
