Dr. Bhagat Cheema is a Psychiatrist at Kern Medical dedicated to helping patients achieve improved mental health and overall well-being through compassionate, evidence-based care.

Dr. Cheema earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences before completing his Psychiatry Residency at the UCLA-Kern General Psychiatry Residency Program. During his residency, he was selected to serve as Administrative Chief Resident, a leadership role that reflects his commitment to medical education, patient care, and program development.

Throughout his training, Dr. Cheema has been actively involved in research and academic scholarship. His work has contributed to publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and has focused on a variety of healthcare and neuroscience topics. He has also presented educational lectures on psychiatric treatment and medication management.
