Rachel O'Donnell, MD

About Dr. O'Donnell

Dr. Rachel O'Donnell is a physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Kern Medical. 

Dr. O'Donnell received her BA from the University of California, Los Angeles. She graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA where she received her Doctor of Medicine. she completed her internship at the University of North Dakota and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Kern Medical. she is board-certified through the American Board of Emergency Medicine. 

As a clinical faculty member at Kern Medical, Dr. O'Donnell previously served as the Assistant Program Director of the Emergency Medicine residency. She currently serves as the Director of Intermediate Care Center and is on several committees including the Blood Usage Committee and the Joint ICU Committee. Additionally, she was appointed Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. 

Dr. O'Donnell is a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and a Member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. She has experience working at Valley Presbyterian Emergency Department, Sherman Oaks Emergency Department, and Kaiser Permanente.
