About Dr. Fang

Michelle Fang, PharmD is a Clinical Pharmacist at Kern Medical.

Dr. Michelle Fang is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist with advanced training in infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship. She currently serves as a Clinical Pharmacist in Infectious Diseases at Kern Medical.

Dr. Fang earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She went on to complete her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at the VA San Diego Healthcare System, where she also contributed to antimicrobial stewardship initiatives across multiple Veterans Affairs facilities.

Her clinical and research interests include antimicrobial resistance, stewardship interventions, HIV and viral hepatitis management, and invasive fungal infections. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Fang remains actively engaged in teaching and community education.
