Dr. Maria Malavé Gomez is a dedicated Family Medicine physician committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Dr. Malavé completed her residency at Clinica Sierra Vista – Rio Bravo Family Medicine Residency Program, a UCLA-affiliated program. Her clinical passion spans women’s health, chronic disease management, and geriatric care, and she is especially devoted to delivering culturally sensitive care to Spanish-speaking patients.

Before training in the United States, Dr. Malavé practiced as a general physician in Venezuela, caring for a wide range of medical conditions and leading public health education initiatives. Her early clinical background also includes experience in obstetrics and gynecology at the University Hospital of Caracas, where she strengthened her clinical judgment and procedural skills in women’s health.

Her approach is rooted in patient education, preventive medicine, and strong interdisciplinary collaboration. As a bilingual physician, she takes pride in helping bridge communication gaps and ensuring equitable, accessible care for every patient she serves.

Dr. Malavé earned her medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela – Escuela de Medicina Luis Razetti.
