About Dr. Bath
Dr. Kulwant Bath, MD, is a Nephrologist at Kern Medical.
Dr. Bath completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of South Alabama University Hospital. Dr. Bath has served as the Chief Nephrology Fellow at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, where he was responsible for teaching junior fellows, visiting medical students, and organizing wellness events to assure the well-being of his co-fellows.
Dr. Bath is passionate about patient education. While serving in his Nephrology fellowship, Dr. Bath was involved in providing vast knowledge regarding dialysis modalities and routine complications of kidney disease to patients with advanced chronic kidney disease. Dr. Bath was also involved in raising awareness among all trainees and clinicians about the appropriate vaccination steps to achieve a goal of at least a 70% compliance rate prior to dialysis initiation.
Dr. Bath is extremely skilled at performing various procedures including urethral catheterization, central lines, thoracentesis, paracentesis, endotracheal intubation, and many more.
In his spare time, Dr. Bath enjoys spending time with his family and friends and traveling.
