Kasey Fox, DO

About Dr. Fox

Dr. Kasey Fox, DO, FACP, FACOI is an academic hospitalist at Kern Medical and serves as the Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Fox earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017 and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at LECOM in 2020. She joined Kern Medical in 2021 as an academic hospitalist, became Associate Program Director in 2022, and was appointed Program Director in 2024. She is passionate about graduate medical education and is dedicated to mentoring residents and medical students while fostering a supportive, high-quality learning environment.

In addition to her expertise in inpatient medicine, Dr. Fox performs bedside procedures including lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and central venous catheter placement. Her professional interests include medical education, quality improvement, point-of-care ultrasound, and resident wellness.

Outside of work, Dr. Fox enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and her residents.
