About Dr. Gomez

Dr. Arturo Gomez came to Kern Medical in 2005 and currently serves as Chief of Orthopedics and Director of Orthopedic Trauma. He is fellowship-trained in orthopedic trauma and has been a critical influence in upgrading Kern Medical’s ability to manage complex orthopedic injuries and multiple fractures often noted in our trauma patients. He oversees one of the busiest divisions at Kern Medical and supervises a multidisciplinary team of orthopedic staff to keep our clinics and orthopedic patient services running smoothly.
His specialty interests include complete periarticular fractures, pelvic and acetabular fractures and joint replacement.
When Dr. Gomez is not working, he enjoys snow boarding, mountain biking, camping, and playing the piano.
