About Dr. Petersen

Dr. Greti Peterson, MD is an Internal Medicine physician in the Department of Medicine at Kern Medical. She has experience working as a physician in Romania and at Northeast Valley Health Corporation. Additionally, she was a Research Associate at UCLA and an Intern in a Private Practice with Kern Faculty Medical Group.

Dr. Peterson received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from National College of Biology and Chemistry in Romania. She attended Medical School at University of Craiova. She served as a resident physician in Anesthesiology and Crtical Care at Fundeni Clinical Hospital and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Kern Medical.

She currently is a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She serves on the Ethics Committee, Operational Clinical Physician Advisory Committee, and Medicine/Med-Specialty Monthly Operational Committee at Kern Medical.

Dr. Peterson was board-certified in Anesthesiology and Critical Care in Romania and by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a certified Phlebotomy Technician.
