Since 1934, Kern Medical has been training residents and
health care professionals in our community.

Internal Medicine Didactics

The Internal Medicine curriculum is highly academic in structure. The program dedicates at least eight hours a week to regularly scheduled lectures and conferences.

Morning Report (7:30 am-8am, daily)
Run by the Department Chair, Program Director, and at least one other faculty member

Multi-Disciplinary Conferences (12-1pm, Thursdays)

Summer Core Lectures (July- October, 12-1pm, Thursdays)
Special core curriculum lectures and clinical training sessions for Interns for approximately three months.

Two critically-appraised articles presented per session

Annual Einstein Lecture
Formal scientific meeting with a nationally-recognized speaker
