About Dr. GhandForoush

Dr. Aslan GhandFouroush is the Chief of Cardiology at Kern Medical with expertise in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine.

He previously served at Comprehensive Cardiovascular Medical Group Inc. in Bakersfield, as a cardiac hospitalist at Warrant Clinic Cardiology in Tulsa, Okla, and as biochemistry tutor at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM). He was a research scientist assistant at the University of North Texas Center for Network Neuroscience in Denton.

Dr. GhandForoush holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of North Texas in Dallas and received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center of Phoenix and his residency in internal medicine at Banner University Medical Center. He holds fellowships in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease/internal medicine at Oklahoma State University in Tulsa.

He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, and board-eligible in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease. He served on the Bioethics Committee at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was vice president of the CCOM chapter of the American Medical Association and a member of the CCOM Oklahoma State Medical Association. He has been a member of the American Medical Association and the Illinois Medical Association and the Illinois Medical Association.

Dr. GhandForoush has contributed to a number of publications, is an experienced researcher, and has lectured and made presentations on a variety of topics related to cardiology.
