Dr. Gohar Gevorgyan, MD is a Family Practice physician who both works and completed his Residency at Kern Medical. He graduated from medical school in Armenia and completed his Neurology Fellowship before working at the Community Hospital of Charentsavan as a Staff Physician and Emergency Room Physician. He then moved to the United States and began working as a Doctor’s assistant at the Pilossyan Medical Center in Sherman Oaks. He also worked as a social worker, where he would interview clients for Government and Welfare funds. In 2009, Dr. Gevorgyan worked at Kern Medical as a Family Medicine Program Associate where he would supervise the Family Practice Program residents and medical students in outpatient and inpatient settings and supervise residents during admissions. He also worked at the Evergreen Nursing Home and made rounds with physicians and residents.
Dr. Revorgyan is a hospitalist at San Joaquin Community Hospital and sees patients at Kern Medical. Additionally, he is the Medical Director at Ararat Hospice Care. He has volunteered at various hospitals including the St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Connecticut, Pilossyan Medical Center in Sherman Oaks, and Yerzinkian and Simonyan Medical Clinic in Glendale.
