Chiraag Vyas, MD is an Addiction Medicine Specialist at Kern Medical.

Dr. Vyas is a dedicated Addiction Medicine physician with a strong interest in research and quality improvement. His journey in medicine began with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, followed by his medical education at Ross University School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Vyas pursued a residency in Family Medicine at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia. He then went on to complete an Addiction Medicine Fellowship at the University of Florida Shands Hospital.

Throughout his career, Dr. Vyas has also participated in community service projects, including Habitat for Humanity, the Bakersfield Outreach Clinic, and Hospice of Santa Cruz County, demonstrating his commitment to both healthcare and community involvement. Outside of medicine, Dr. Vyas has diverse interests in art history, literature, and weightlifting, and he enjoys writing and movie reviewing, reflecting his passion for both creative and intellectual pursuits. With his broad clinical training and commitment to improving patient care, Dr. Vyas continues to make significant strides in his medical career while also contributing to the advancement of research and community health initiatives.
