Kern Medical will hold its 16th Annual Research Forum. As the community’s only teaching hospital, this Forum is part of ongoing educational activities for graduate medical education. The Forum serves to highlight research activities of Kern Medical’s residents, fellows and physician faculty as well as recognize special contributions and innovations. Research and scholarly activity are requirements of all approved residency-training medical programs at Kern Medical.

About Kern Medical: Kern Medical trains over 200 residents, fellows, and medical students each year in eight graduate medical education programs as the area’s only teaching hospital. The medical center is affiliated with the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and in addition to serving as the community’s only trauma center, provides all members of the community access to basic and specialty care through a network of clinics and physicians. Kern Medical operates outpatient clinics at its main hospital campus as well as on Columbus Street, Truxtun Avenue, and Stockdale Highway.
