Our well-rounded, experienced faculty are dedicated to the education and overall well-being of our residents. Each morning, patients are presented in formal teaching round settings where the faculty educate residents using evidence-based medicine integrated into the cases at hand.
Our residents also have protected weekly didactic sessions on Friday mornings. These sessions are geared for integrating evidence-based medicine, research and academia into the daily practice of obstetrics and gynecology through lectures, case reviews and hands-on practical demonstrations that keep our residents and faculty up to date with the latest information and practice guidelines. Residents also are provided with guidance and preparation for oral and written board examinations.
In addition, the Department of Graduate Medical Education provides protected lectures and seminars for residents and students, including Summercore Lectures for Interns, the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education lecture series, Multidisciplinary Grand Rounds, and M&M lectures, including OB-GYN-General Surgery Grand Rounds.
