Dr. Paramesaran Aiylam, MD received his Medical Doctorate Degree at G.S. Medical College in Bombay, India. He went on to complete his Internship in Pediatrics at K.E.M. Hospital, where he also did began his residency. He continued his residency at Wadia Children’s Hospital before moving to Brooklyn and completing it at Kings County Hospital. Dr. Aiylam completed a two year fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at UCLA School of Medicine.
Dr. Aiylam became a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics in 1979 and began working at Kern Medical as an Associate in Pediatrics. He accepted the role of Chief of Pediatrics in 1988 and has been serving in this position with Kern Medical for the past 20 years.
