M. Brandon Freeman, MD

About Dr. Freeman

Dr. Brandon Freeman came to Kern Medical in 2009 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

He is currently the Kern Medical Chief of Plastic Surgery and Facial Trauma. His background includes Fellowship training in: micro-vascular/reconstructive plastic surgery, and craniofacial surgery. In 2009 Dr. Freeman was nominated by the County of Kern for Customer Service Excellence. He also serves as Director of the Grossman Burn Center at San Joaquin Community Hospital.

Dr. Freeman is actively involved in Doctors Without Borders, an international medical humanitarian organization that provides independent, impartial medical assistance to those most in need. He completed a two week trip to Guatemala, Central America to utilize his much needed surgical skills. In the past Dr. Freeman has served in many other parts of the world with hundreds of dedicated doctors, nurses and medical workers.
